Booking Conditions

 

1. YOUR CONTRACT

www.wave-travel.com allows music fans from around the world to buy “Festival Package”. This contract is through  TORTUGA TRAVEL SRL and is operated under the name wave-travel.com. Your contract is subject to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully.

Accepting these terms and conditions automatically subjects you to accepting the terms and conditions of the festival organizers and promoters, as well as your accommodation provider, and transport operator. You can obtain a copy of all terms and conditions upon request.

 

2. HOW TO BOOK YOUR FESTIVAL PACKAGE

Festival Packages are subject to availability. We are supplied with a limited number of festival tickets, hotel rooms and apartments.

To book a Festival Package simply visit our website and follow the onscreen instructions. After being shown the total price of your package, simply hit the “purchase now” button. After making payment for the total price of the package your booking will be complete.

After payment has been received you will be sent a confirmation email. You will receive a confirmation email in 72 hours following your booking request. Please contact us at contact@wave-travel.com immediately if anything on the booking conformation is incomplete or incorrect.

The person who supplies the payment details for the booking will be the lead name. The lead name will be used as the contracting party for the booking and is responsible for all payments. By agreeing to these Booking Conditions the lead name confirms that he/she is authorized to accept on behalf of all parties named in the booking.

 

3. PRICE OF YOUR FESTIVAL PACKAGE 

Full details of what is included in the price of your package is shown on our website. Anything not included in the price on our site is extra and you will need to pay.

 

4. PAYMENT 

In order to complete a booking you must pay 50% deposit or the total price of your Festival Package.

We accept the following credit or debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro,Visa Electron.

We protect our users information through our secure website. We are not to be held liable in the event that a third party obtains personal data and/or information, unless due to our own negligence.

Providing your payment details confirms that the credit/debit card used is yours. We don’t accet any payments using third party credit or debit cards. Credit/Debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization. If your card issuer refuses to authorize payment we will be unable to process your booking.

 

5. FESTIVAL PACKAGE 

Entry into the festival is only permitted on production of a valid ticket or pass. Accordingly, if we issue you with an e-ticket, you must bring that e-ticket and present it at the check-in point in order to gain entry into the festival. If we issue you with a wave-travel.com voucher, you must present the voucher together with the payment card you used for payment and a valid form of ID to the festival check-in point in order to obtain your festival ticket or pass. The festival organiser may refuse you entry if you fail to produce all of the aforementioned documents. wave-travel.com shall have no liability for any refusal of admission on the basis of failure to produce valid documentation.

The artist lineup is subject to change. We will advise you of any changes as soon as advised by the festival organizer or promoter.

Festival tickets are non-refundable.

 

6. HOTEL OR OTHER ACCOMMODATION 

Depending on the accommodation providers policy you may be required to pay a refundable deposit on arrival at your accommodation to insure against any damages which occur during your occupancy of the property, which may be requested at the time of booking, or subsequently, on your arrival. This deposit will be repaid to you in full at the end of your stay providing you have left the property in a reasonable condition.

 

7. TRANSFERS 

If you are using our transfers you must bring your booking confirmation of your Festival Package and present it to the transfer operator as evidence of your booking as well as a form of valid ID of all travelers. We do not have any liability for a transport operator refusing travel to any customer not carrying the required documentation.

In case we are unable to provide exact locations and times for your transfers at the time your booking is confirmed, we will provide this to you as soon as it is available.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive in good time for departure and otherwise we are not responsible for any refusal by the transport operator.

Departure times are estimated and approximate and we will not be liable if any transfer arrives or departs later than scheduled. We will notify all customers of changes as soon as advised by the transport provider.

You will be advised of all luggage restrictions on your booking confirmation.

You must not carry on board any items that are prohibited according to the transport provider's conditions of carriage. Conditions of carriage are available from wave-travel.com on request. If you are found to have any prohibited items in your possession or within your luggage, you may be refused travel or you may be required to remove the items from your luggage immediately. We shall not have any liability to you in this event. If you require confirmation as to whether a particular item may be carried then you should obtain our written confirmation before purchasing your ticket.

 

8. CANCELLATIONS AND AMENDMENTS 

After your booking confirmation has been issued, no cancellations, refunds are allowed. The payment is charged at the time of purchase. No-shows will be charged in full.

In some exceptional cases, depending on our supply agreement with the event, we might be able to process a name change or a partial refund. If a partial refund is possible, please note that a minimum of 50 % of the total order will be retained by wave-travel.com as a result of processing and administration fees for handling the cancellation. To arrange this, you will need to contact us as soon as possible by email at contact@wave-travel.com

If you wish to change your accomdation part of your package after booking, we may be able to help you, but are limited to the availability of what still vacant. You can be subject to an administration fee for any changes.

 

9. CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING 

Changes to your booking will be kept at a minimum and we will advise you of any changes at the earliest possible convenience.

 

10. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU 

We don’t accept responsibility or liability for services that are not part of our contract with you. For example any additional services provided by the hotel, festival organizer, transport operator or any services you may find while on your trip. Please view our website to see exactly what is included when purchasing your Travel Package.

 

11. COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS 

If you have a complaint or claim in relation to the festival or any other part of the Festival Package, you must tell the festival organiser, hotel, or transport provider (as appropriate) at the time the issue occurs, as most problems can be solved on the spot. If the matter cannot be resolved locally at the time, then please write an email to our customer services department at contact@wave-travel.com. This will help us to quickly identify your concerns and speed up our response to you. If you fail to follow this procedure, we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint whilst you were in resort and this may affect your rights under your contract.

 

12. INSURANCE 

We consider travel insurance to be essential and we recommend that you take out insurance to cover your trip.

 

13. HEALTH & SAFETY 

You must comply at all times with all health and safety requirements of festival organizer, hotel or other accommodation provider and transport provider. If you breach any of these requirements or your behavior or conduct, in the reasonable opinion of the supplier or us, causes or is likely to cause danger, upset or distress to anyone else or damage to property, you may be refused travel or entry into the festival. We shall have no liability to you in these circumstances and no refund shall be given.

 

14. PASSPORT, VISAS AND HEALTH FORMALITIES 

If the festival is located outside your country, you will need a valid passport to travel. Romania is a part of EU and all the citizens that are from EU can travel with European identification card only. For all others traveling from countries outside the European Union, a Passport is required for entering the country.

 

15. SPECIAL REQUESTS AND MEDICAL PROBLEMS 

If you have any special requests, you must advise us at the time of booking. We will pass on any reasonable requests, but we cannot guarantee any request will be met.

 

16. DATA PROTECTION 

In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements, we need to use the personal information you provide such as name, address, and any special needs/dietary requirements etc. According to Romanian Law NO. 677/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, amended, www.wave-travel.com is required to safely manage the personal data you provide about you.

In order to complete your booking your personal information must be passed on to the relevant suppliers of your Festival Package including the festival promoter, hotel and accommodation and transportation provider. We may also need to supply your information to credit card checking companies, security companies, customs or immigration if required by law. We may have to send your personal information to countries outside the EU where controls on data protection may not be as strong as the legal requirements in this country. By making a booking, you consent to this use of your personal information.

 

17. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION 

This contract and any dispute, claim or other matter of any description that arises out of or in connection with this contract is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Romanian law. The courts of Romania shall have jurisdiction to decide any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this contract.
